This purpose of this site is to promote education with the lock systems
used in vehicles. There is information within this site for both
the general public and locksmiths. To be able to access the
restricted locksmith portion you will need to register. Credentials will be required.
Products & Help
Products listed for sale include
items such as Transponder keys, Remotes, Auto Locks and other related
items. If you are knowledgeable about the locks, we can sell
you a lock already keyed up to fit your existing key. For the locksmith there are also items such as
The Transponder Book, high security key making systems, special tools and a lot
more.
Ebay Keys
Ebay key purchases. Many
times it appears that buying a key thru Ebay can save
you money. This is not always the case. Before you
purchase one, check on the cost to cut and program the key.
Also many have steel in them and it will damage the cutter on most
key machines. Many locksmiths do not want to take the responsibility in case the
key is miss-cut or damaged. It is very common for the
total costs to be less if you went directly to a locksmith.
Most would also guarantee their work. They cannot
guarantee something that they do not provide. We do sell
Transponder and High Security keys, but unless we provide them completely done, we cannot provide
a warranty. Unless there are special circumstances, we
recommend working directly with your local locksmith.
Lock Problems If you are having
problems with your lock, one thing I cannot stress enough is -- DO NOT
stick ANYTHING into your lock. It is VERY common to increase the
overall cost of repair by damaging the original lock. Click
